Leslie walks you through how to understand what goes in (and is taken out) of your paycheck. That includes:

-- Gross Pay: The total amount of earnings you earn for the pay period.
-- Pre-tax deductions: Deductions that are taken out of your paycheck before the taxes you pay
-- State and Federal taxes, like FICA: The income taxes you have to pay through payroll
-- Post-tax deductions: Deductions taken out of your paycheck after taxes
-- Net pay: The amount you take home after everything's been taken out.
-- Reimbursements: Any reimbursements your employer may owe you.
